About Me:

Dr. Holland has extensive training and experience in both Comprehensive and Pediatric Ophthalmology. His special interests include cataract surgery and strabismus. After graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, he completed medical school and his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He also performed a transitional Internship at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Because of his special interest in pediatrics, Dr. Holland continued his education at the Storm Eye Institute in Charleston, South Carolina with a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus. As a pediatric ophthalmology fellow, Dr. Holland performed significant and award-winning research in pediatric cataract surgery and retinopathy of premature infants. Dr. Holland enjoys using his medical expertise on his international medical mission trips.
