I feel very fortunate to be in a position to help people. As much as I enjoy keeping up with the latest research, I also believe that listening and good communication is just as essential. For improved health and happiness, medication is often very important. But whenever possible, I would favor finding ways to reduce stress, improve nutrition, and increase exercise. I was born in Portland and grew up on a farm in Silverton, Oregon. I met my wife, Rachel, in college. She's a musician, which keeps life entertaining. I enjoy hiking, whitewater kayaking, biking, basketball, reading good books, and spending time with Rachel on the Oregon coast. Hobbies include: Hiking, Kayaking, Cycling, Basketball, Reading, Spending time with my family
