Excellent doctor. She addressed all my concerns, validated my feelings and jumped right on trying to figure out what was wrong. She was kind and considerate and made me feel very safe. She was also incredibly thorough about procedures she would perform and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I felt greatly cared for!

I'd really like to know what's going on with Blue Cross Blue Shield and legacy. No news has been posted for two weeks. This impacts my upcoming appts with this provider and the care she wants to provide me.

Dr. Bird was fantastic as was the rest of the staff. They made an otherwise uncomfortable situation far more tolerable by being attentive, respectful, and at ease.

Only suggestion is to make it more clear where the new office is when proving appointment time and place . Even the note on the old office door was wrong. I only suggest it because apparently it happens frequently. That's what I was told when I explained why I was late. I'm not mad about it but if someone doesn't say something, sometimes simple stuff like that doesn't get corrected.

The provider and nurse/assistant were great. Nice, efficient, respectful, and direct. They made me feel at ease and like I'll be able to easily put my trust in them for future visits. I had filled in a long intake form and had a referral and that information had not made it into the Legacy system, so I wasn't able to be seen for the appointment I made. I had called the office a couple of weeks before my appointment, and didn't hear back from them about, so figured they had any imaging they needed for my appointment. (I assumed they had what they needed-I had surgery at Legacy a few months ago and everything ran smoothly.) At my appointment, I was told to make another appointment for one month out. The front desk person told me that I couldn't that day and that they would call me. Since I had waited a longer time for my first appointment, I called the next day. I was able to make an appointment on the phone and had all my questions answered thoroughly. I felt very heard and helped.

The doctor did not give prompting/warning before inserting for the procedure. I was told that the results from the procedure were lost. Overall there could have been more explanation prior to the procedure about what to expect. I believe that the doctor brushed over things to be lighthearted to help with anxiety/normalize the experience. I think she has good intentions but performs the procedure a lot and was in a rush.

I wish Dr Bird was a general practitioner so that I could come to her with all of my health problems other than just related to her speciality, gynecology. She is the most understanding and non-judge mental provider who I see for my medical care. Her nursing assistant and front desk staff are friendly and have a good sense of humor which is something that is so wonderful to have when you, the patient, are feeling stressed. Dr Bird is excellent in her field of medicine and hopefully stays with this staff for a very long time!
