About Me:

Dr. Pendergrass is passionate about providing women with minimally invasive surgical options to treat a majority of gynecologic disorders. She is fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Endoscopy through the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons (ASRM), and Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. During her two-year fellowship, she performed over 550 robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic procedures. This breadth of knowledge and experience resulted in her becoming a surgical consultant for gynecologists in the Portland community. She has lectured regionally, presented at national conferences, and her surgical videos have been shown across the country. Hobbies include: Traveling, Hiking, Spending time with my family, Reading, Fitness, Square Dancing

She was late, curt .. And didn't think my issue was very important .

All good. I did not need to call the provider's clinic regarding this visit as I had scheduled it 6 months In advance and had received both reminder/confirmation texts as well as request to fill in pre-appt information. I did wait until I arrived to complete the authorization to have my daughter allowed to have access to my medical and financial records, as this is a new request that I had not received from Legacy before. I did give that information and signed at the front desk.

This doctor is so tuned in to your needs during the office visit, makes sure all concerns are discussed and taken care of. Lovely attitude and very complete. I love this doctor! So fortunate to be a patient of hers.

My visit with Dr. Pendergrass was worth the wait for an appt! She answered all my questions without judgement, listened carefully, and offered options. She explained all the options and I fully understood the plan when I left. I so appreciated her care, and truly the entire team's care. I also noticed many messages of inclusivity posted throughout the clinic, and as a human who cares deeply about others, that was so awesome to see in your clinic.

For some reason the OB/GYN's at Legacy push Gabapentin for pain and NEVER want to prescribe actual pain medication when it's necessary. This stigma has GOT to stop! It is doing actual harm to people. Including after surgery!! I have actually decided to have my upcoming and all future surgeries elsewhere because I'm terrified I will not be properly cared for, concerning pain, after surgery.
