Avid G Farahani, PsyD
I strongly believe that a healthier mind leads to a happier life and that optimal health and well-being require that the mind and body work harmoniously.
My ultimate goal with patients is to highlight the important role that one's psychological functioning plays in health and well-being within a preventative, holistic, and authentic clinical framework.
I was born in Tehran, Iran and spent the majority of my childhood and early adulthood in Los Angeles, California. I met my husband, Babak, in college. He's also a Clinical Psychologist as well as an author and musician, which keeps life fascinating. I enjoy cooking, taking photos and scrapbooking, watching movies, doing outdoor activities and indoor house projects, shopping, taking walks, and spending time with family and friends.
