Biography
Dr Flick joined Legacy from the University of Utah Health Science Center where she served as an assistant professor of psychiatry and Chief of the Division of Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Flick earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico in special education and psychology, received her masters in educational administration at Stephen F. Austin State University, and was awarded her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her residency in the Triple Board Program (pediatrics, general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry), and completed a fellowship in developmental pediatrics at the University of Utah.
Dr. Flick’s special interests include children and adolescents suffering from anxiety disorders and developmental disabilities including autism. Her primary research interest has been in the area of psychosocial effects on families undergoing prenatal genetic testing. Dr. Flick’s addition allowed Legacy to extend the child and adolescent psychiatry services.
