Biography

Dr. Lew completed his undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology at the University of California at Berkeley and received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Southern California. Dr. Lew completed his gastroenterology fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and spent an additional year specializing in therapeutic pancreaticobiliary endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound. He joined Gastroenterology Specialists of Oregon in 2002.

Dr. Lew has special interest in gastrointestinal oncology, with particular focus on pancreatic, biliary, and esophageal cancer. He serves on the Tumor Board at both Legacy Meridian Park Hospital and Willamette Falls Hospital.
