Dr. Lu was not only trained as Chinese medicine doctor in China, but also had additional six years specialty study and research. He earned his doctoral degree in specialization of endocrinology and holds master degrees in orthopedics and traumatology.

Dr. Lu is state licensed acupuncturist, incorporating acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese Tuina/massage, and Chinese Qigong in his treatment. His main practice focuses on pain management and endocrine disorders. He also has a strong interest in cancer care, women health issues and neurological disorders.

Dr. Lu has 20 years of clinical, teaching and research experience at the university level in both China and the United States. Currently, he is the Chair of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of the doctoral studies at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. He is credentialed and a member of the American Academy of Pain Management.
