Biography

Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Savage is a physician with Legacy Medical Group-Broadway.

Dr. Savage has lived and worked around the world, most recently as a doctor in Africa. No fan of the pill-to-fix-everything mentality, he feels that his role is to provide the support and care needed to promote the body's inherent healing ability without the overuse of medication. He is an avid sportsman - he bicycles, swims, and skis - and he has a strong background in sports medicine.

His interest in medicine began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa. He went to medical school at the George Washington University and completed his residency training at the University of California in San Francisco. He has served his country as a reservist and an active duty physician for the U.S. Army for 12 years.

He grew up in Latin America speaking Spanish and French at home. He is married and has one daughter.
