Expertise, convenience, excellence

We offer a reassuring range of up-to-date, coordinated care for expectant mothers and newborns, by skilled physicians who are board-certified in maternal-fetal medicine and/or obstetrics/gynecology. Our areas of expertise include older mothers, multiple births, pre-term births, chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and more.

Out-of-town moms will especially appreciate our streamlined approach. You can receive multiple services in a single visit to a single location.

We are accreditation by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), demonstrating our facility's clinical excellence and its commitment to the highest quality patient care when providing diagnostic ultrasound services.

A powerful network of care

Should your newborn need specialize care, Legacy has two state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Units. When necessary, these NICUs rely on the expertise of more than 90 pediatric sub-specialists at The Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.

And to ensure that you have the care you need when you need it, both Legacy Emanuel and Legacy Salmon Creek have in-house obstetricians. These obstetrical hospitalists are available to support -- not replace -- your family practice physician or nurse-midwife, and to serve as primary responders in OB-GYN emergencies. The presence of OB hospitalists also allows obstetric providers to offer VBAC (vaginal birth after Caesarean) because an obstetrician is always available during labor.
