We are a comprehensive medical eye center dedicated to excellence in all aspects of eye care. Devers is a private, nonprofit clinical and research eye institute - one of only a handful in the United States.

• Annual conference, "Thorny Issues in Opthalmology" 
   
• Clinical and surgical care: From routine eye care to the latest surgical procedures, we provide high quality, cost-effective care to people with eye diseases.
   
• Research: Devers scientists conduct nationally-known research on reducing and eliminating eye disease. The Institute is known throughout the world for our significant contributions to improving eye care. See Devers Research.
   
• Education: Our specialists publish in national and international journals, present at teaching institutions and professional conferences worldwide, train surgeons in new surgical and transplantation techniques, and mentor new ophthalmologists and researchers.
   

• Patient Consultation: Devers provides the latest diagnostics and monitoring equipment to patients with vision-threatening diseases.

Service locations

• Surgical eye services for adults and children are concentrated at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital, with select services also available at The Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.
   
• Outpatient services are offered at Devers clinics and from board-certified ophthalmologists on or near the Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital campus.
   
• Ophthalmology research takes place at Discoveries in Sight Research Laboratories.
