Recertification for stroke and joint replacement programs

Earlier this month Legacy Salmon Creek achieved Primary Stroke Center Recertification by the Joint Commission. Just a week later, the Joint Commission reviewed the hospital's knee, hip and shoulder replacement programs at our Total Joint Center.

According to Jonathan Avery, chief administrative officer, after spending two full days at the hospital the Joint Commission surveyor "was very impressed with what she saw and we received a 'perfect' report on the patient care we provide." The hospital is fully accredited for two years.
