The Ronald McDonald House-East provides a "home away from home" for families and their seriously ill or injured children who travel far to receive treatment at Legacy Emanuel Hospital.
To stay at the Ronald McDonald House-East, guests must have:
- a child 18 years or younger being treated at the hospital
- an active, permanent residence over 50 miles from Portland
- a referral from a hospital social worker, nurse case manager or home physician
