Good Samaritan Foundation has been a faithful steward of the community's philanthropy since 1969. The Foundation supports the advancement of medical research, education and technology at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, Legacy Hospice Services and Legacy Research.

Legacy Good Samaritan offers some of the region's most specialized care. Community donations support a wide range of enhancements, most recently the purchase of a high definition da Vinci® surgical robot; the creation of two specialized comfort care rooms for dying patients who can't return home or transfer to hospice; new equipment for the cardiac rehabilitation gym; and patient scholarships for diabetes education.

Legacy Hospice Services provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual comfort for terminally ill adults and children, and for their families. Donations to hospice, often in memory of a loved one or in honor of their caregivers, help continue this compassionate and professional hospice care.

Gifts to the foundation to support Legacy Research contribute to clinical breakthroughs in burn, cancer, diabetes, ophthalmology, stroke, trauma and other areas of care.
