Legacy Laboratory Services contracts for professional pathology services with Cascade Pathology Services and Cascade Cytology Reference Lab. Formed in 1992, this outstanding group of nationally-recognized pathologists serves Oregon, southwest Washington and receives referrals from all over the United States. These board-certified pathologists represent multiple specialties and provide a full range of consultative and diagnostic services in the areas of Immunohistochemistry, Molecular Pathology, Medical Genetics, Flow Cytometry and Cytopathology. In addition, our clients have access to Cascade Pathology Services' two centers of excellence: the Center for GI and Liver Pathology, established in 2001, and the Center for Gynecological Pathology, established in 2002.
These expert pathologists perform 40,000 biopsies and more than 85,000 cytology examinations annually. They routinely provide critical information to the medical community to aid in making important diagnostic andtreatment decisions, thereby improving patient care.
