Training the Next Generation
Legacy Health has a long-standing tradition of providing post-graduate training to physicians and other professionals interested in working in a healthcare environment. Our campuses offer varied and challenging educational opportunities for residents, medical students and fellows from several disciplines.
Legacy Emanuel and Legacy Good Samaritan medical centers, located about a mile apart and separated by the Willamette River, are Legacy Health's teaching hospitals. Residents see in-patients at these two diverse facilities and out-patients at several primary care clinics and the Oregon Burn Center. Elective opportunities exist in a variety of settings.
