Biography

Dr. Michael Breda is a senior surgeon at the Good Samaritan Hospital, specializing in the broad spectrum of general surgery. He is the recipient of numerous academic and professional awards, and has been promoted to the rank of full Professor of Surgery at OHSU. He is active in academic general surgery, and sits on the prestigious Examination Consultants Board of the American Board of Surgery. He is an instructor in medical liability for CNA Insurance and the Oregon Medical Association, and a frequent expert consultant in general surgery for regional law firms. He recertified with the American Board of Surgery in 2012 with a score in the 99th percentile.Dr Michael Breda graduated AOA from John Hopkins University. He is a full Professor of Surgery at OHSU and was previously the Division Chief.
