Biography

Helen has specialized in the treatment of children and adults with severe burn or wound injuries since 1986. She has expertise in the treatment of vascular, lymphatic and burn-related diagnoses. Helen co-directs Oregon Burn Center's Burn Concern Support Group and she facilitates the center's School Re-entry Program for children returning to school after a burn injury. In addition, she is the lead investigator for an on-going research project titled Hypertrophic Scarring after Facial Burn: A pilot, Observational Study. Helen enjoys gardening at home and snorkeling in the Caribbean.
