Biography
Thomas M Jenkins, M.D., received his medical training at OHSU here in Portland. He then moved to Milwaukee, WI to complete his residency in OB/GYN followed by his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Jenkins is board certified in both OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Before joining the Legacy Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine in 2005, he was on faculty at both Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently serves the role of Director of Prenatal Diagnosis at the Legacy Center for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He has authored multiple book chapters and published numerous articles in the field of prenatal diagnosis. Research interests include all aspects of prenatal diagnosis including screening options and diagnostic procedures, and in taking care of women with multiple gestations. In particular, he has over a decade of experience providing chorionic villus sampling.
In his spare time, Dr. Jenkins enjoys spending time with his family and competing in triathlons.
