Biography

Dr. Kuchela completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto in Ontario. He completed an internship in general surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City and a residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and interventional cardiology training at the University of Vancouver Hospital and Health Sciences Center in British Columbia.

Dr. Kuchela is a board-certified in general cardiology. His clinical interests include the management of acute and chronic coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease and structural heart disease.

Prior to joining Pacific Heart in March 2012, Dr. Kuchela was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington and Oregon Health and Sciences University.
