Dr. Lamy obtained his B.S. in General Science from Oregon State University. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California. A 4-year surgical residency in Reconstructive and Traumatological Surgery of the Foot and Ankle was completed at St. Joseph's Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lamy also received fellowship training abroad in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Lund in Malmo, Sweden.

Before joining The Vancouver Clinic in 2012, Dr. Lamy practiced in the Portland and Vancouver area for the past 20 years. This has included private practice and teaching faculty at Oregon Health & Science University.

Dr. Lamy provides all aspects of foot and ankle care. His practice philosophy, influenced by a career-long interest in educating healthcare providers regarding foot and ankle issues, emphasizes patient education in helping the individual understand their particular foot issues thoroughly. Dr. Lamy speaks at many educational meetings and has authored published papers and textbook chapters.

During his free time, Dr. Lamy enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, and playing the guitar.
