Usual Times/Days of Week Unit Open:  24/7 
Shift Length Worked & Start Times:  12 hour shifts, 0700 & 1900 
Number of Licensed Patient Beds:   28 
Average Daily Unit Census:   18 
Average Length of Stay:  4.5 days 
Number of RNs Working Each Shift: 11-13 
Mix:  RN only 
Style of Nursing & Usual Patient Assignment:  1:1 or 2:1 
Special Skill Sets Usually Required of RNs:  ACLS, cardiac telemetry monitoring, etc.
