Usual Times/Days of Week Unit Open:

24/7; EDACU (fast track) 09-2100

Shift Length Worked & Start Times:

3 RNs 07-1900; 1 RN 10-2200; 1 RN 12-2400; 1 RN 15-0300; 3 RNs 19-0700; RN 09-1700

Number of Licensed Patient Beds:

25 (ED 15 & EDACU 10)

Average Daily Unit Census:

116 patients per day

Average Length of Stay:

124 minutes for ED; 57 minutes for EDACU

Number RNs Working Each Shift:

At 0900 - 4; at 1500 - 7; at 0400 - 4

Skill Mix: 

65% RN, 12% clerical, 23% Technical (Technician, MA)
