Pharmacy PGY1 Program

Legacy Health is proud to offer a Pharmacy Postgraduate Year 1 Program at its six hospitals. Pharmacy residents care for inpatients at these diverse hospital facilities and outpatients at multiple clinics. Elective opportunities are available in a variety of settings.

Legacy's PGY1 is an ASHP accredited one-year, post-graduate program. Three annual PGY1 positions are available July 1 through June 30. We use the ASHP Residency Learning System in the design and ongoing improvement of the PGY1 training program. The program is individualized to allow each resident to pursue additional experience in areas of practice interest and to provide learning experiences that prepare a pharmacist for PGY2 training or a clinical position in an acute care or ambulatory setting.

Applications are accepted via the online PhORCAS system and are due by Jan. 2.
