A Message from Maureen

Dear Friends,

Our donors have been very good to us! We’re celebrating the $15 million impact philanthropic contributions have made on the health of our communities in the past year. Such support is helping us make brave, innovative changes – ones that improve the patient experience, provide better health outcomes and cut costs through preventive measures. All of this is transforming the way we deliver health care.

Take our 3-D mammography. In the past year, philanthropic contributions enabled us to purchase this cutting-edge equipment for our hospitals. It reveals more than the standard 2-D mammography, detecting tumors earlier, which reduces repeat screenings, radiation exposure, patient stress and the need for biopsies.

And, through charity care we can make sure those who are most vulnerable are getting the regular, preventive care they need to keep them healthy and out of the hospital. Legacy will continue to be there for all those in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

We are grateful for your partnership and for the support you provide. As we aim to raise $50 million for our Better Together Campaign, we thank you for joining Legacy in being part of the solution. Together we are making the health care changes that create positive differences in people’s lives!
