Founded in 1875, Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center is a nationally acclaimed, full-service medical center with renowned doctors in heart care, transplants, cancer care, eye disease, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss surgery, rehabilitation and more. Located within the hospital, Legacy Rehabilitation Institute of Oregon (RIO) provides comprehensive inpatient medical and therapy programs for adults from across the Pacific Northwest with stroke and multiple sclerosis, as well as spinal cord, brain, burn and other traumatic injuries.

Wistar Morris Society
The Wistar Morris Society, named for the founder of Good Samaritan Hospital, recognizes those donors who are committed to this highly respected regional hospital. It is a distinguished society of individuals whose significant gifts advance research, education and technology at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center. Membership in the Wistar Morris Society is given to individuals with annual cumulative contributions of $1,000 or more to Good Samaritan Foundation.
