Breast cancer

Our team of experienced, board-certified female surgeons specializing in breast surgery is led by nationally known surgeon Nathalie Johnson, M.D., FACS, who is also the medical director of  Legacy Cancer Institute. The clinic staff supporting this team is specially trained to provide every patient with an extra measure of support and assistance throughout the course of care. Colorectal cancer and other conditions

We perform colorectal surgery for colorectal and gastrointestinal cancers as well as non-cancerous conditions including:

  • Diverticulitis
  • Fistula
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Hernia
  • Inflammatory bowel disease

 

These services are led by fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon Joseph Frankhouse, M.D., FACS, the medical director of Legacy Colorectal Cancer Center. Services range from diagnosis and second opinions to surgical treatment options. Because we understand the sensitive nature of these conditions, we provide a comfortable and private environment for patients to share any concerns they may have.

Liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile duct cancer

We offer surgical expertise in treating liver, pancreas and bile duct cancer as part of Legacy's comprehensive and coordinated program for these cancers. The program covers all aspects of a patient's care, from diagnosis through post-treatment support, with an emphasis on promoting each patient's quality of life. Our program includes the most advanced diagnostic capabilities and most sophisticated treatments.

Skin cancer (melanoma)

Jennifer Garreau, M.D., leads our skin cancer (melanoma) program. She has conducted nationally recognized melanoma researchm earning the prestigious ASCO Cancer Foundation merit award in 2009 for her contribution to the field.
