At Legacy Cancer Institute, our priority is you: Your unique circumstances, your treatment goals, and your quality of life. Our doctors, nurses and therapists work together to develop a personalized treatment plan for you based on these things.
Through the OHSU-Legacy Health Cancer Collaborative, you also have access to a wide range of clinical trials, research and the most recent advances in personalized medicine from OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. And, you may be able to stay closer to home, because treatment is available at multiple locations across the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area.
Complex cases get an expert "second opinion" at multi-disciplinary care conferences (also known as tumor boards). At these meetings, doctors, nurses and therapists representating all aspects of your care review your diagnosis, pre-treatment evaluation, tumor staging, treatment strategy, rehabilitation and patient support needs.
