High Risk Drivers Class - The class is designed to educate drivers to the potential and very real consequences of "high-risk" driving behaviors.
Minor in Possession, Adult/Purveyor Furnishing - A class for:
- Youth under 18 accompanied by parent
- Youth over 18
- Adult/Purveyor Furnishers
Who have been cited in juvenile or adult court for:
- Minor in Possession (MIP)
- Open container
- Other drug related offenses
The class includes education about the science supporting a legal drinking age of 21, and the consequences of making bad choices while under the influence, furnishing alcohol to a minor, or service industry non-compliance citations.
Safety Belt Class - The class is designed for drivers and passengers over the age of 16 who have been cited for not using seat belts.
Share the Road Safety Class - Trauma Nurses Talk Tough's class about the dangers and risks pedestrians, drivers and bicyclists face when they fail to follow safety regulations. Persons receiving some types of citations may be eligible for reduced fines upon successful completion of the class.
Young Driver Improvement Class - Uses Trauma Nurses Talk Tough's manual "How to Utilize the Graduated Driver's Licensing Law Effectively" to help families help their teens learn to drive safely.
DUII Victim's Impact Panel
This court-ordered class is for individuals cited by the police for driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants. It includes a presentations by TNTT, a Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge and from people injured by DUII drivers and the family members of people killed as a result of DUII drivers. It is a very powerful class about the tragedy of impaired driving. The class is held in English on the 2nd and 4th Monday and the 4th Thursday of each month and in Spanish on the 2nd Monday of each month.
