Trauma Registry The Trauma Registry contains patient and outcome data that supports: Continuous quality improvement Resource tracking Strategic planning Research throughout Legacy Health Physicians and residents routinely use this data for research. Legacy Trauma Services collaborates with other level I and II trauma centers in research activities, using "collector" software to freely exchange Registry data. State governments and regulators also use Registry data to measure the performance of the Oregon Trauma System. The Trauma Registry is a critical part of continuous quality improvement at Legacy Health. Each month, Trauma Registry data is submitted to the Oregon Health Division for incorporation into the Oregon Trauma Registry and review by state trauma system administrators. Legacy continues its substantial financial investment in the Trauma Registry to fulfill our mission of preventing trauma, continuously improving outcomes and maximizing our trauma patients' quality of life.
