Pediatric development and rehabilitation
Legacy has the only inpatient children's development and rehabilitation program in Oregon.
Our staff works closely with the Pediatric Development & Rehabilitation team to help your child manage any complications or side effects of treatment, including muscle weakness or nerve damage. They provide in-hospital therapy to maximize your child's potential and nurture their strengths, using kid-friendly exercises and equipment.
Pediatric development and rehabilitation services are also offered at out-patient clinics in several locations throughout the Portland-Vancouver metro area.
Over the last thirty years, clinical trials have led to significant treatment advances and higher cure rates for many children's cancers.
As a member of the Children's Oncology Group, we offer the latest trial protocols, including Phase II and III studies that represent the best care available. This means your child never receives a treatment that hasn't already been tested. We only offer proven, evidence-based treatment. Please visit our clinical trials page to see our current trials.
