Spiritual care

Interfaith spiritual care is provided by the hospital chaplain and spiritual care volunteers around the clock; just ask your nurse or the hospital operator. We respect each patient/family's beliefs, and provide daily visits, prayer and sacraments when requested as well as responding to referrals, crises, and questions about health and faith. Eucharistic visits are provided daily for our Catholic patients and families.

Our chapel is located near the hospital entrance, and there is a Meditation Room in the critical care waiting area with holy books and prayers from many different faith traditions. We also have an Outdoor Labyrinth on the first floor by the Seasons of Life Garden.

All clergy and other representatives from your faith tradition are welcome to visit you with your permission; we would be glad to contact them for you. Please call us with any requests or questions at 503-692-2688.
