We offer complete health care for children from newborn to age 18, provided in a family-centered setting by pediatric medical experts including newborn specialists, pediatric ophthalmologists, and pediatric/neonatal nurses.

Legacy Salmon Creek has specially designed rooms with child-sized medical equipment, the highest level of care in Clark County for premature and ill infants, and an emergency room, inpatient unit and neonatal intensive care units all dedicated just to kids.
Our partnership with Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel gives us access to all their specialists for the most serious cases, and our child development and rehabilitation services are aligned with those at Randall Children's Hospital and Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center.

We offer a separate kid-friendly waiting area, equipped with child-sized furniture and protected from the adult waiting area.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – 360-487-4200
Certified for Level III neonatal care, our NICU is able to care for 25 critically ill newborns in seven private rooms and three rooms for twins, with space for seven more babies in the special care nursery. Family space, including a sleeping area, is built into each family room.
Designed to keep mother and baby together to support breastfeeding and bonding. Our lactation consultant services are available for all breastfeeding mothers, and the nursery staff cares for newborns who cannot be cared for by the mother or a family member.
Pediatric Development and Rehabilitation – 360-487-1777
At the Legacy Children's Center we offer outpatient services including physical, occupational and speech therapy evaluations and treatment plans; swallowing assessments and therapy; and sensory motor integration therapy.
Short Stay Surgery
This unit provides pre- and post-operative care for young patients who have surgery or other procedures, but don't need to be admitted to the hospital.
