Located in a two-story comprehensive health center, Legacy Medical Group—Cornell will open on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 and will offer the community many unique services with direct access to both Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center and Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. The new clinic will offer primary care for all ages; specialty pediatric care; orthopedics; foot and ankle experts; X-Ray services; and a sports medicine clinic, which will provide athletic training, physical therapy, injury prevention, sports rehabilitation and performance evaluation, including bike fittings, and running and golf-swing analyses. Randall Children’s Specialty Clinics will also be available at this location and will specifically include rheumatology and diabetes and endocrine services. The clinic is located at 1960 NW 167th Place, Beaverton.

Legacy Medical Group—Forest Heights is now open and offers primary care for all ages. Services include minor procedures and basic primary care treatments such as phlebotomy, nebulizer treatments, medication administration and procedures such as EKGs and dressing changes. The clinic is located at 2127 NW Miller Road Portland.

“The opening of Legacy Medical Group—Cornell and Forest Heights provides Westside families new services and direct access to Legacy’s specialized, quality care for both children and adults,” said Melinda Muller, M.D., FACP, clinical vice president, Primary Care, Legacy Health. “We are thrilled to bring our expert services and subspecialties to the west-metro community so families can receive the high quality care Legacy provides closer to their home. Legacy looks forward to creating new partnerships and caring for our new community.”

Both Legacy Medical Group—Cornell and Forest Heights are welcoming new patients and accept many different health plans.
