Our physician philosophy
Our philosophy and practice is that physicians are key partners, along with administration and the Board of Directors, in setting Legacy's direction and goals as a high-quality health care organization. Legacy's CEO, CMO, the chief administrative officer at one of our hospitals and three members of the Board of Directors are physicians. We also have many physicians in leadership positions. These positions include clinical vice presidents of medicine, surgery, pediatrics, ophthalmology, research, medical informatics/diagnostics, women’s services and medical directors in key specialty areas. Our medical staff members have an opportunity to participate in all levels of planning, decision-making and implementation of key strategies at Legacy Health.
