Legacy's Clinical Pastoral Education Program
Our program, accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), offers supervised training to laypersons, theological students and ministers of all faiths.
Our center
Legacy Health includes two tertiary hospitals, a children's hospital, three community hospitals (including Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center in Clark County, Washington), a hospice agency, primary care clinics and specialty clinics. Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel and the Legacy Oregon Burn Center are the locations where the extended half unit, intern and residency training take place. These facilities offer a complete range of medical and surgical services that include seven intensive care units, women's health, infant and children's health and psychiatric services. Located in northwest Oregon on the Willamette River, Portland is centrally located between snow-capped Mt. Hood, 60 miles to the east, and the Pacific Ocean, 60 miles to the west.
