Centrifuge and separate serum from clot immediately.
Plasma, serum that is icteric, lipemic, hemolyzed, heat-treated or contaminated.
Ambient (20-25°C): 8 hours; Refrigerated (2-8°C): 2 days; Frozen (at or below-20°C): 2 months
Enzyme Linked Immunoassay (EIA)
0.0-20.0 Units: Negative, no significant level of IgG antibody to H. pylori detected.
20.1-24.9 Units: Equivocal, repeat testing in 10-14 days in parallel may be helpful.
≥25.0 Units: Positive, IgG antibody to H. pylori detected.
