Approximately 100 antibodies are included in these panels.

Guidelines

Discussion with a Pathologist is recommended before the procedure. A growing number of antibodies are available. Call Pathology-IHC at (503) 944-7923 for the most current list of antibodies.

Specimen Collection Requirements

Collect

A minimum of 4 mm biopsy.

Handling

OPTION 1: Immediately place tissue in fixative (10% Neutral Buffered Formalin). Deliver to the Surgical Pathology lab ASAP. Prolonged fixation more than 10 hours may interfere with detection of specific antigens.
OPTION 2: Submit fresh tissue immediately to the Surgical Pathology lab.

Testing Information

Note

Complete immunotyping of lymphomas requires fresh tissue.
