New Legacy services bring CME to point of care and offer do-it-yourself tools online

February 2013

Legacy Health Continuing Medical Education is offering training sessions for physicians to learn about new point-of-care CME and new do-it-yourself CME Services.

Point-of-care CME

Legacy now offers a point-of-care CME format that provides physicians with 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for selecting and using electronic Legacy Library resources to research a self-identified clinical question at the point of care. Documentation of the clinical question, resources used, and the application of findings to practice will complete the process. Legacy is implementing point-of-care CME with the assistance of a $15,000 award from the National Library of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region.
