Are you ready to be a leader?
"The leadership academy taught me management skills that we never learned in our medical training." -- Steven L. Mansberger, M.D., MPH, clinical vice-chair, director of glaucoma services and of the fellowship program, Legacy Devers Eye Institute
Increasingly, physicians are called on not only for their clinical expertise, but also for their leadership within what has become an incredibly complex industry. In order to support physicians as leaders, Legacy is now offering leadership development curriculum to all members of its medical staff. Courses will provide physicians with the skills and knowledge to lead within the clinic, hospital and team setting.
For several years, Legacy has delivered leadership development to medical directors within Legacy Medical Group. Now the curriculum has been expanded to meet the needs of physicians in a variety of leadership roles, whether that is working in a small clinic, overseeing a project or leading a large change effort. Past participants in the Legacy Physician Leadership Academy have provided consistently positive feedback about the content and design of the program.
