LEAP costs and subsidies

A complete solution and a cost savings

Private practice providers looking for a complete Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record system can turn to Legacy for help. We can also help you pay for more than a third of the system –– if you take advantage of temporary changes in rules that allow us to subsidize part of your purchase.  LEAP allows us to share Legacy Epic with providers that partner with us to provide care in our community!  We believe LEAP is a vehicle to improve the continuity of care for the families we serve by delivering consistent value to our patients and partnering with providers to achieve the service excellence our patients deserve.

Since 2011, Legacy Health has offered private practice physicians a complete EMR. Our solution is called Legacy Epic for Affiliated Providers, or LEAP. We believe it is the most complete and integrated Practice Management and Electronic Health Record solution in the market.

With the Stark Law Relaxation for EHR donation, we can subsidize your purchase of the system to make this integrated solution affordable for affiliated practices.  The subsidy expires the end of the 2021 calendar year. Check this webpage later for new information.

Subsidy, plus support features

LEAP’s total cost per installation is $28,700. Legacy’s subsidy is $11,400 per practice, leaving an upfront cost for private practices of $17,300. Private practice may be eligible for an additional benefit based on their “meaningful use” of LEAP. See here for more.
