Supporting the health of our community

The Office of Philanthropy coordinates all fundraising initiatives for Legacy Health, a nonprofit health care system serving Oregon and Southwest Washington. Our foundations support the programs and services at our six acute-care hospitals, helping to enhance patient care, medical technology and research. Among the many specialized programs we support are:

$10 million gift renames Children's Hospital

The Robert D. and Marcia H. Randall Charitable Trust, longtime champions of community building and youth development, has donated $10 million to support and name the new home of The Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.

The Randall Charitable Trust's gift - the largest in the history of Legacy Health, the largest given to a Children's Hospital in Oregon and Southwest Washington, and the largest the trust has ever made - is dedicated to the construction, furnishing and equipping of the new Children's Hospital. In recognition of the Randall Charitable Trust's gift, The Children's Hospital has been officially renamed Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. Individual donations

The generosity of individual donors allows us to combine advanced medical technology and high quality care for each and every patient who comes through our doors -- including those with little or no insurance. See ways to give.

Community fundraisers

Each year community volunteers raise awareness for our hospitals and programs while making significant financial contributions. We appreciate your interest in making Legacy Health the beneficiary of your fundraising efforts, and refer you to our fundraising guidelines for more information.
