Maternal Fetal Medicine: Expertise in pre-natal screening and pregnancy complications

Most pregnancies are healthy, but if a problem is suspected parents need to know what it means for mom, baby and family. Sometimes, expectant parents are simply interested in prenatal screening for peace of mind. Our caring professionals provide this information in a supportive setting, using the most up-to-date pregnancy screening, genetic tests and diagnostic technology.

Our center for maternal-fetal medicine provides specialized, comprehensive care for women with high-risk pregnancies. Our skilled physicians (perinatalogists) are board-certified in maternal-fetal medicine and/or obstetrics-gynecology or genetics. Their expertise includes:

  • Multiple and pre-term births
  • Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
  • Diagnosing and caring for older mothers, mothers with diabetes, high blood pressure and other health issues
