Fitness for Osteoporosis

Keeping fit helps to fight the effects of osteoporosis. A regular fitness program will help to:

  • Maintain bone strength 
  • Reduce the likelihood of falling
  • Improve posture and body mechanics
  • Strengthen the heart and lungs to increase energy level
  • Provide socialization and support


We offer ongoing fitness classes, guided by a therapist, to address osteoporosis. Everyone works to his or her own ability, and there's no floor work.

No registration or physician referral is needed for these classes. Please wear comfortable clothes and supportive shoes. For more information, call 503-413-7753.
