Development and Rehabilitation
Expert care in an environment just for children
When a child faces a medical or therapeutic issue, Legacy Health is here to provide outstanding care in a child-friendly environment.
Legacy is a regional leader in children's development and rehabilitation, providing services to children in the inpatient and outpatient settings. We treat all ages, from the youngest babies — even those born prematurely — through teens up to 18 years old.
Our staff understands that children have different needs than adults, and all of our professionals are fully licensed and specially trained in pediatrics. We've designed our facilities for babies, children and their families, with kid-friendly waiting rooms and size-appropriate equipment with the most advanced technology. Our dedicated providers work to help children gain new skills and abilities that they aren't able to learn on their own and/or help children to return to their previous functional status.
We strongly believe in family-centered care and value input from parents. We believe that parents are our partners in their child's care, and we willingly incorporate caregivers' goals into treatment sessions. We involve the whole family in all phases of care to help their child realize their fullest potential. Our goal is always to promote high-quality service and a wide range of integrated care for children with special needs and their families. We're dedicated to maximizing our patient's potential and nurturing their strengths.
