Randall Children’s General Surgery provides expert surgical care for infants, children and teens facing a wide range of medical conditions. From routine care to the most complex cases, families trust our skilled surgeons and staff to provide high-quality, personalized care in an environment designed for healing and comfort.

Our pediatric general surgery team has expertise in neonatal surgery, treating congenital abnormalities, hernia repair, endoscopy, congenital chest wall abnormalities, surgery for cancerous and noncancerous tumors, trauma surgery and more.

Congenital abnormalities
  • Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), intestinal atresia, gastroschisis/omphalocele, congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM), tracheoesophageal fistula and esophageal atresia (EA/ TEF), anal-rectal malformation/imperforate anus and Hischsprung’s disease 
     
Surgical care of childhood cancers
  •  Wilms, neuroblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, teratoma and liver tumors
     
Trauma care and surgery, including ECMO

Comprehensive, coordinated treatment

Our team works closely with pediatricians and referring providers to develop individual treatment plans and reach the best outcomes for our patients. As part of Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, we also coordinate with other pediatric specialists and support staff, as needed, for complex cases or for ongoing treatment and disease management.
