Children often need X-rays or other imaging services to help with their diagnoses and treatment. The team at Randall Children's Hospital is specially trained to work with pediatric patients, and our family-centered approach helps put children and families at ease.
Dedicated to safety
We're committed to keeping radiation exposure to all our patients, especially children, as low as possible -- the "As Low As Reasonably Achievable" standard. Our X-rays use half the normal radiation dose, and the dose for our CT scans is reduced by at least 25 percent - with no loss of image quality. By following this standard we minimize the risks of radiation while ensuring the quality of the images. Legacy maintains leading edge equipment, which is regularly calibrated and inspected for compliance with national regulations. In addition, our equipment and facilities are routinely inspected by several outside agencies.
We're dedicated to providing your child with a positive environment where their safety and accurate diagnosis are top priority. We treat children of all ages, from birth to 18 years old.
At Randall Children's Hospital our wireless technology allows for quicker turn-around times (at least two times faster than other hospitals). Your image can be reviewed seconds after it's taken leading to a rapid diagnosis.
