One of the best in the nation
Our program participates in the Uniform Database System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR®) utilizing a pediatric version of the Function Independence Measure™ (WeeFIM®). This measures a child’s functional level and when combined with the length of stay, measures how quickly a child has improved, the length of stay efficiency. Larger numbers mean faster recovery. Our goal is to be better than the national average.
Our program also participates with MedTel Outcomes©, an independent service that provides follow-up surveys after a child leaves our program. We use two questions as primary means to assess how we are doing. Our goal is to have more than 90% of our families, caregivers or kids respond ‘Yes’.
We are meeting our goal of being one of the best programs in the country.
