Symptoms

• Runny or congested nose
• The nasal discharge may be clear, cloudy, yellow or green
• Usually associated with fever
• A sore throat often is the first symptom
• Sometimes associated with a cough, hoarseness, watery eyes, and swollen lymph nodes in the neck
