Legacy in the News: Rose Festival Court brings princess power to patients

FOX 12 and The Oregonian

May 22 and 23, 2014

Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel welcomed the outstanding young women of the 2014 Rose Festival Court for a tour of the hospital on Thursday, May 22. The 15 princesses visited patients and families from the heart and cancer and infant and toddler floors during their tour. The princesses had a fun time singing “Let It Go” from “Frozen” and even doing a science experiment with one of our patients.

Randall Children’s Hospital is proud of its connection to the Rose Festival Court and the Portland Rose Festival. The Randall Group gives these exceptional young women $3,500 scholarships for any accredited college, university or trade program. The hospital is also a sponsor of The Fred Meyer Junior Parade, which delights families and children in our North East Portland community.
